Additionally 4,500 jobs in Ventura County are directly or indirectly related to the Port of Hueneme's activities. Join the Oxnard Harbor District for the annual Port Report at the November 12 Good Morning Oxnard Breakfast. 

Port workers and those at companies affiliated with the port are part of the backbone of our cities, county and state economic fabric and while experiencing many of the same business challenges, the port and its related partners continue to bring economic benefits to the county making important contributions to the local and federal tax base.

The future of our port lies in building strong community partnerships and cooperation with its partners in the U.S. Navy, nearby municipal governments and with local educational institutions such as Cal State University Channel Islands.

The Oxnard Harbor District Port of Hueneme is one of those quietly efficient entities you hardly think about until you look at where your neighbor works. This is a working port providing jobs for the county.
